Cultural Journalism

The Polo Cultural production company's project offers technical training in recording and editing for the production of content on the web, as well as the preparation of guidelines in the culture and variety segment!

TV Cidade Cultural presents an innovative proposal for training in cultural journalism for the digital media age. The project comes from Polo Cultural, which conceived and produced the Arena da Palavra Literary Festival.

The training will combine the new dynamics of producing content for social networks with the consolidated fundamentals of cultural journalism. We will provide the trainees with crucial skills for producing informative and attractive content for windows such as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.

Meetings with great journalists!

TV Cidade Cultural will consist of five meetings that will cover the work of covering cultural topics. We'll be talking to established names in journalism, as well as successful content producers on digital platforms.

During the process, you'll also be taught how to create guidelines, recording techniques, content editing, cases of successful cultural stories and much more!

Timetable and Selection

Classes will be held on Saturdays in September and October, from 10am to 5.15pm. A transport allowance of R$40.00 per person will be provided for each day of class, and lunch and coffee will be on us!

In all, 30 names will be selected to take part in TV Cidade.

At the end of the course, four people will be selected to work as journalists for the Cultural Hub!

According to Marcelo Sollero, director of the Cultural Hub, "TV Cidade Cultural will be a training program to further qualify those who already work in the area and want to develop".
